just want to submit some data & have it end up on Filepro - old tony

That's a really broad description.

The submission side alone could entail CGI, SOAP, or REST, all three of
which are handled differently (the differences between the latter two are
more subtle, but both differ significantly from the first). Hell, it
-could- be custom, for all we know.

The specific API (assuming it's an API) will determine -how- you get back
your data. Then you need to know exactly what you're looking for within
that response. Not all things will return HTML, either. Could be XML,
could be JSON, could be HTML, could be 'other'...

If there's an actual specification for the place you want to work with, you
might be best off posting a link to it, rather than having us guess and
work with undefined generalisations.
