I did a search on the name fpWeb and came up with this Microsoft Business Partner using the name for their SharePoint application.
https://sharepoint.fpweb.net/about-us/
Interesting as this may be the actual reason for this product not being announced and not that is not ready for release.
On the 6.0 release notes the following paragraph appears after New PDF:[POP] and before PDF Lines & Boxes.
This new printer type will print a report in PDF format to /appl/fpoffice/fpPDF and then properlyformat a message to either GI or WEBfilePro to display in the appropriate viewer.WEBfilePro is assumed as the client if webserver output desitination is setfileProGI client is assumed if there is no webserver output desitination set
Apparently even the 6.0 install is not installing this option yet as no /applfpoffice/ folder(directory) is created.
In looking at this carefully, it appears that Fp Tech is endeavoring to automate the creation of PDF's by supplying a program which will take an output and convert it to a pdf in a manner similar to Print Wizard. Also, this would allow filePro to use "Dumb Windows Printers" easily. Also, it will allow for more easily sending outputs to a web based application. (This is what I am hoping this "feature" will do).
