OPENDIR() using a cifs file system mount

I agree with Chris about the odd behavior of Windows based NAS but if
you are going to mount as a NFS filesystem, be *very* careful not to use
any locking as it's unreliable across FTP.
Atomic operations are fine (although slow), like renaming and deleting.
I'd look into any NAS options for managing case and/or mount options
using CIFS to control presented case.
