I would add that the browse line must have room for the extra codes, 
because it will include them in the 80 characters but will not add any 
width for them in the display.  So if your line of data is tight, it 
might drop things off the end.

I have done this and struggled with this issue in past.  But it does 
look great to make things a different color in a browse.
