There was an article in the travel section of today's Washington Post about hidden fees being charged by Hotels. These fees are included after one clicks on the check0out or make reservation link. In some cases the fees are new in others they are showing one rate and a higher rate after a given date.
The writer strongly suggested that one prints out the terms and conditions of any booking as well as the confirmation. A friend of the writer's checked into a hotel with a pre-paid reservation. The hotel wanted to add on their "Resort Fee". She was able to show them her confirmation and the terms and conditions which said mothering about a "Resort Fee". She didn't get charged.
As I indicated, the additional fee added to the 109.00 Room Rate has nothing to do with Fp Tech but the policy of the Hotel chain. In some cases , if one is an elite member of their affinity group, these fees may be able to be eliminated.
