Richard is one of your staunchest -defenders-.  He has defended fP Tech,
and what I feel is practically indefensible, more times than I can count,
specifically because he's loyal to filePro.  He's actually one of the few
people still saying upgrading makes sense.  Slapping him in the face is
-not- your brightest move.

Of the people on this list, Richard is one of the two -LEAST- likely
to find fault with anything you people do, and most forgiving of your
continued failures.  Damned if I'll let you sit here and slight him like
that, when I know exactly how forgiving he is.  Richard and I don't always
see eye to eye on every topic, but there's always been a mutual respect
there, so yes, I'm bloody well going to defend him.

If things weren't made apparent, to the point Richard thought to warn other
people as a courtesy, then that's laid at the feet of the people who didn't
communicate things clearly enough, didn't dot Is, or cross Ts.  It's not at
all like Richard to overlook known details, in my experience.

-I- sure as hell don't recall anything being mentioned about any of the
fees being waived.  I recall the original emails saying the room price plus
tax, full stop, zero other details.

If you don't like being called out for insulting him, you probably
shouldn't have been foolish enough to quote your own insult back to the
rest of your audience.  /facepalm
