Slow dreport

each Sort select v processing dreport.exe just crawls along at 50MB/s IO
and barely more than idle CPU. Entirely localized fP dev win 8/10

 I can parallelize up to my license limit to "get things done" but barely
an impact to overall resources and I thought maybe I am missing something
that is holding my fP instances back
