keyboard issue - remote desktop CTL-C

Not a MAC user, but you might try setting the variable PFKEYTAB=DOS in your startup file as this changes the action of the F1,ESC & ctrl-C (read the manual on this setting. This might eliminate you problem. It will require a separate start-up file for you to use, if this works, as this change will only be in effect for the sessions running with the variable set.
