Header problem

I have an output which creates a text file.
In the header portion the birthday month and the primary name associated with the individuals whose birthday it is. The issue I am having is getting the name appearing in the header to be correct. This only happens on the first page.
When to the first break occurs on the primary person's code, the program forces a page to happen and the page number is reset to one. This happens but the name appearing in the header belongs to the previous person.
As an example if the list was for Carl Smythe, then the name appearing the name appearing in the header would be for the person whose list was just be for his list. The only time the proper name appears is for the first person. After that each new page is one person behind.
How do I get the proper name to appear in the header of the new page?
