attaching document images to a filepro file

Hi All,

Is it possible to do this if running filePro on Linux and using PuTTY (SSH) from Windows computers to access it? Here are the specifics:

filePro Version: 5.8.02.08
Linux Version: CentOS 7.4
Windows Client: Windows 10
Terminal Connection: PuTTY using SSH

I'd like to have programming @key to press that would then launch a PDF file saved on a windows share. For instance, while in our jobs file a button could be pressed that would grab the PO # and then check the windows shared folder for PO#.pdf and open it on the Windows client computer.

Thanks,
Josh

Hi

Thank you all for all the suggestions you provided,

I am now able to attach PDF files and display them from within filepro.

This will enhance our ability to process files faster and with less manual effort.

Thank you all again for a great user group.
