filePro executables vs Win 2003

Thanks Bill. I started looking at DLL issues, but now think it has something to do with the EXE itself. For example, if I put dclerk.exe into its own directory and set the path=(null), I get the same message (if I do the same thing on a Win2k8 machine instead it will complain about a missing fp_xml2.dll). I’ll mess around with it a bit more, and if I don’t have any luck will contact support.

Bob,

There have been no reports of it not working but I know that some of the dll's have to be up to date in order for it to work.
Make sure all your updates and patches are in place. If it still does not work, contact support first thing in the morning.

Figure this is a long shot, but does anyone know if there were any changes in recent versions of FP (32 bit) that would keep them from working under Windows 2003? The latest (5.8.00.15R9) EXEs do not seem to work ("dclerk.exe is not a valid WIN32 application") on Win2003, but work just fine under Win 2008/2012 (these are 64 bit versions, however we are downloading the 32 bit versions assuming it would be backward compatible). The 5.8.00.00D9 32-bit version works fine on all platforms.

Thanks,

Bob
