attaching document images to a filepro file

No, I never use record number.

If I have a record in, say the Order file with an Order Number I 
created, I would store all related documents to that order in a separate 
folder.
i.e. c:\appl\fp\docs\

Each pdf related to that order would have a sequencer, _001, _002, _003 
etc..

Most of my pdf document handling is driven by bar codes that are read 
and that control the naming convention, purpose of the document, date, 
time etc..
