filePro User Group / Florida

Both are right.  GoDaddy was selling it for $11.99, and Network Solutions
would gladly bend you over to the tune of $2.65k for the mere perception of
owning a 'premium' domain, whether it actually is or not.

Also, never, never, ever do a pre-search on GoDaddy for a domain name.  If
they see you do it, and you come back, it'll be more expensive the second
time around.  I got pretty irate after I saw them pull that nonsense.  

Use DNStools.com or other non-registrar-based tools to check on a domain,
if you need to.  Never work through a registrar's site unless you're
willing to pull the trigger that second.  I don't trust any of them.
