Back around this same time of year in 2009, Bill Campbell replied to
Robert Pulliam's:
"When I place @TM on a screen or output it is always one hour earlier"
with this:
[ With older versions SCO OpenServer (we're running 5.0.6a in
VMware virtual machines), you need an /etc/TIMEZONE file
containing something like this:
TZ='PST8PDT,M3.2.0/2,M11.1.0/2'
export TZ
Of course adjust for your local time zone. ]
