As I mentioned to Bob Hampton in an email...

BackupEDGE 02.02.00 is 10 years old and is no longer supported.

The last release of the 02.0x series was 02.03.01 build 6.which is coming up on 8 years old.

In edgemenu, you may select "File -> Check for Updates" to get to the final 02.0x release. There is no charge for this. It may fix your issue.

If you've gotten good value from BackupEDGE 02.0x over the last 10 years, please consider purchasing BackupEDGE 03.02.0x.

Subject: BackupEdge 02.02.00 Question

Hello filepro Group,

I am using BackupEdge version 02.02.00 on OpenServer 5.0.7. Backups are failing on one of these servers, and we noticed that there is a file called /usr/lib/edge/lists/<jobname>/.debug that is growing to the 2GB file size limit, and I have a feeling that this might be the issue. Does anyone know how to turn off the debugging in BackupEDGE or at least reduce the verbosity? Even if I delete the file, it still hits the 2GB limit before a backup is done. I have the .debug file linked to /dev/null for now so I can at least see if this is the problem, but I would like to fix it properly.

Thanks

Faisal Karim
