You could setup a TERM that has nothing or spaces for all the terminal G codes, ala
GV=:GH=: , etc....

Subject: Turning off all graphics drawing on a filePro screen

     Is there some sort of "PFNOGRAPHICS" option I can set to prevent filePro from drawing any graphical characters in either input or output processing?

     I'm testing an AML Triton barcode scanner gun that is attached to a Red Hat Linux 6 server using SSH. The Triton is supposed to emulate a VT100 terminal, but the graphical characters in input processing splash q's and dashes and other characters all over the screen.

     So far the AML tech support people have not been very helpful in getting the gun to work as expected. I think it has something to do with
VT100 emulation not being activated on the gun because I am SSH'ing to the server. I'm continuing to work with them...

     I've been trying to find a "PFnographics" or some other option that will prevent filePro from drawing graphical lines around the screen. I would also like graphics to be turned off around the "input popup" boxes.

     I converted the input processing to an output process, but even when an output process executes, filePro draws some graphical lines on the top and bottom of the screen and then draws a graphical box around the input popup questions.

     If there isn't any easy way to prevent the graphics from drawing, I guess I will have to go in and try to hack the VT100 entry in the filePro termcap file to see if I can prevent the graphical characters from drawing.

Thanks!
