Printer problem solution (kind of)

Currently I am using HP 2055 DTN((PCL 5) mono laser printer and an HP 7740 multi-function color inkjet printer (PCL 3). The color printer works fine with inkjet HP-9xx print table I have not used it but suspect that the HP-2500 print table would also work.

I have a client who is using a Ricoh Multi-function printer. One client is using a Xerox multifunction printer. filePro prints to this without a problem except for print barcodes. The human readable numbers are printing on the bar code stripes. As each user has their own "heavy duty" printer, I have not adjusted the label generating code to move the readable code down. The user just prints the barcodes from a different computer. My other choice, in this case, would be to network this computer to the Laser Printer in the Server Room. This is an HP 2055 DN and would print the labels properly.

Looking at HP web-site LaserJet Enterprise M50X & M60X series both indicate the there is a PCL driver available for download from their web-site.
HP also has a universal print driver but for the most part I usually look for and use a PCL 5 driver. I sometimes find that this driver works better for printing 2 sides of a document when using Word or printing a long PDF document. I have not tried 2 sided printing with filePro as most of the time I am sending output to a PDF using filePro native PDF print option of using Print Wizard.
