Sorry to have gotten that wrong.  It was over 30 years ago, and as one of
my bridge partners said "I have a photographic memory, but I ran out of
film".

Don managed a Radio Shack Computer Center near me in here in Washington so
was one of the first people I met after moving from Maryland.  He really
helped me when I was getting started with Celestial.

In the small world department, Don had run a company making and racing
Radio Controlled cars.  His company sponsored Oscar Kovaleski's Can Am
team.  I knew Oscar and Tony Adamowicz, from my racing on the east coast
and from the 1979 Cannonball Baker Sea-to-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash,
race from Darien CT to Redondo Beach CA.
