Recently I had to make a change on the file server, but the mapping to the shares from Linux to Windows still works. Our Linux server is still able to connect to the Windows share, but the 'exists' command in filePro that was been working for years has now stopped working and gives me an error -22 when checking if a file exists on the Windows share.

I recently had a customer encounter a related problem, also with Windows
Server 2012. This was with Print Wizard (on Windows) despooling from a
Samba-mounted Linux directory. The despool process tests for the existence
of certain files by periodically reading the directory; it also tests for
the ability to open those files 'exclusive', to make sure they are
finished being written to.

I'd be interested in knowing what file operation filePro uses for
'exists'. I'd also be interested in any resolution to this problem.
