Creation password

Richard,

If you try to get data on a browse screen from a file with a creation
password, it will ask for that password, I know that.

I never use them for that very reason, they need to be supplied at
runtime for various reasons.

You can give the impression you assigned a creation password by renaming
a filepro file. It seems the name and the password are co-mingled and
this protects you from just renaming a file and using the data outside
of filepro. It also controls any development changes in that file or in
processes that access that file. A real pain if you ask me without any
real advantage, since it is easily changed.
