New printer prints blank pages

This is why the latest versions of filePro support outputting PDF files.

filePro working with dumb windows printers.

You can create a pdf file or create the file and have it print to the default printer.

I know many of you don't like the license manager, the initial problems with it seem to have been corrected. Currently my clients are not having any issues with it.

It may be time for your clients to "bite the bullet" and upgrade their version of filePro.

Take a look at the features that have been added since the version in-use.

My two biggest clients needed to upgrade as some of the new features are necessary to their continuing in business. Each needed different features and upgraded. Both are making use of the subscription model as they like the idea of gaining functionality.

As a developer, I am making use of the subscription model as I get a jump on features and functions prior to the next major release. From a dollar and cents standpoint, one gets to "play" with these and learn how a new function or feature can work for to give an updated feel to an application. I added the scrolling field option for one client for the company name field and for the email field which is a 75 character field in a customer file. In this case only the first 30 characters are visible. They have the option of entering the field and scrolling through it. Or they can press <E> at IUA and a msgbox pops up and shows the whole email address.

The other way around the issue of a dumb windows printer is to use PrintWizard. This program works very well with filePro. Again, I have clients who use this program. Besides being able to create and print PDF files from filePro, one can also set the option to email the output. I am about to implement this for one of my clients.
