I fully agree with what you are saying, but management is "Microsoft" brainwashed....
They know or understand nothing else.....

I have experience on both.  You will be sorry.  ACCESS is cheap but it has no flexibility. Simple things like 'ALLUP' edit and the other editing commands do not exist in ACCESS, nor can you create them. Most of the reports you can easily generate using filePro will be extremely difficult or impossible using ACCESS.



I have seen too many know nothing hotshots making promises and failing.



I believe you and your company will be very, very, very sorry.

I have been using FilePro for over 25 years now.  My company is planning on replacing it with  "Microsoft Access".  A young hot shot MS wannabe programmer is supposed to write the new system and replace FilePro in a couple of years.  We will see how that pans out....
