What do you do for scanning from within Filepro

Does "another machine" imply that the filePro user is using a terminal 
emulator? If so, then using AnzioWin could be an option for you, as it 
contains all the scanning abilities mentioned for (freestanding) Print 
Wizard, plus the ability to transfer scanned image files between machines.

On the other hand, if the user is setting at a web browser, things get 
challenging. We have an ActiveX object that can be used for remote 
scanning, but it has languished for lack of use.

On the third hand, if it's none of the above, I believe you're not going 
to find a way to share a scanner from one PC to another, like you could 
with a printer, say. A scanner is generally thought of as a client-side 
device, because physical interaction with it is necessary.
