What do you do for scanning from withing Filepro

There different solutions depending on the specific requirements and
constraints. Some solutions might only involve filepro files.
Some things to consider:
How do you expect the interface to behave? When 'scanning', would you
want to search for parts of words? (Words starting with vs any portion
of words.) Do you need to search across multiple files in one search
session? Does the source data that you are searching change
frequently? How should the resulting matches for 'scans' look? Should
results be some kind of active link that functionally open its
corresponding document?
Regarding storage and naming, in a web-based scenario for example, a
user could designate a document name and upload a document to the
desired directory simultaneously naming the physical document and its
entry name [and say create date, etc.] in a database of documents. How
will the documents be received? In house of from another party?
