Ot; Birthday Calculation

Actually, my wife pointed out that this calculation should work for any year
as long as the birthday is the same as or earlier then when doing the
calculation.

My birthday has passed, I am 74+1943 = 2017  next year I am 75 = 2018.
However, if I was born in November my current age would be 73+1943= 2016

So the information I passed on is incorrect.
