fp 5.0 application on Centos 7

Been running a fp 5.0 application on Centos 6 for many years.

Just trying in on Centos 7

  fp seems to run OK EXCEPT is seems like fp 5.0 is not seeing that
TERM=linux (as set in the users .bash_profile).  What should be solid lines
are drawn as "----" and the prompt says to press "DMAP" instead of "F6" to
do a browse lookup.

To test the box we put 5.8 on it and it works as expected regarding the
terminal line drawing and special key labels.  

BTW, we did have an issue with lib.termcap.so.2 not being able to be
installed with yum install but we thought we had that squared away.  Does
5.8 not need that and 5.0 does?  Maybe that is the cause of the problem.

Has anyone else used 5.0 on a Centos 7 box and have any ideas.
