     (ALSO, replying ONLY to the list and not Paul AND the list; again out
of respect for JP)  <double-grin>

     I'm as saddened and as surprised as the rest of you are to hear of JP's
passing.  He called me just a few months ago to encourage me (again) to join
iXorg.  He didn't give any indication he was having any health issues at
that time.  

     filePro and SCO products have pretty much been my life for the past 30+
years, and I can't imagine what either product would have been without JP's
input and constant salesmanship over the years. 

     My deepest sympathies to his family and those of you who were much
closer to him than I was.
