Importing/exporting data with carriage returns (I Think)

I was going to suggest the opposite.  Make sure the file is saved with 
all records ending in LF only, not CR/LF, and IMPORT using LF as the 
record separator.  Then all CRs are captured with the imported notes.

(Notepad++ has an option to view all characters so you can see what 
special characters are in the file.)
