Looking through "The filePro Anthology"

I was looking through "The filePro Anthology " disk and in John Esak's second annual Guru Training, there is reference to short selection. Part of that was an example of using RG (range). I never realized that this was an available option. It is only available for short selection.
It is interesting to look through the programming to see how issues were handled prior to many of the functions which made things easier to handle.
There are also many examples of programming that is relevant today. It is nice to see how other approach programming.
Although many of the publications are old they are still relevant today.
