VOT: HCF

As the subject indicates, Very Off-Topic...

I started watching a programme on Netflix the other night.  Said programme
is "Halt and Catch Fire".  I have to say, it is -excellently- done.  I had
my doubts going into it, but I was hooked after one episode, and it's eaten
all my free time the last two nights.

Very, very well-done period drama about the early days of PC development.
I'd think any of us who lived through that era could really appreciate the
show most, although it's still quite accessible in general.

YMMV, but I give it five stars.

(It never fails to amaze me how period pieces like this, Stranger Things,
Super 8, etc., manage to re-create the period down to some of the smallest
details.  They must spend a mint hunting down ancient tech, cars, clothes,
everything.)
