It is, and it's also been in the (largely back-burnered) process of being
redone for over a year now. Mostly I need the product pages populated. I
went into a paragraph about this over a month ago during one of our threads
here, when I was fighting with Ken about the fP Tech website, in full
disclosure mode, and wasn't shy about it. Any failings of my site right
now are the fault of Serif's WebPlus. Before their CSS became invalid, it
was fine. It was last touched in 2012, and I guarantee that the redesign
was done at least 2-3 years prior to that, as I went through three releases
of WebPlus. So it's seven plus years old. Cut-off divs (due to WebPlus)
aside, it's actually not bad.
But the current one still does automated purchases and immediate
fulfillment via email after going through PayPal IPN (which integration was
done over a decade ago), so I practise what I preach and the point stands Ä
a point to which I'm sure my clients can attest. The new site's automation
is already done and ported. I "just" need to port the product content.
There is, unfortunately, a lot of content, and I only have one me, with
more important things to do. My main business is active work, with sales
of software being a -very- distant second. I can afford for it to be in
the state it's in. fP Tech's main focus is selling software; they really
cannot afford to be as lax, as their primary focus and goal is different.
If you want to finish up the site rework for me, I'd...take a pass, because
I wouldn't trust you anywhere near it. It'll just have to wait for me to
get around to it in my Copious Free Time[tm]. It's honestly not exactly
high on my list of priorities for use of my free time right now.
It was a nice try at embarrassing me, but you're firing dud ammo. For
starters, I did full disclosure over a month ago, closer to three. For
another, the parts I'm criticising about fP Tech's site are actually
covered within my own site. There's simply a display issue in the
formatting which affects -very- little actual content. So... Nice
try, but: Fizz. Fail. NEXT!
