By stopped do you mean -

a. no records are selected at all
b. an error is shown ...
c. records are selected, counted down as if processed but nothing prints ...
d. screen just flashes and you're returned to your menu or point of origin

Have you tried using both dreport and rreport?  Have you tried 
retokenizing the processing table(s)?  Have you added a variable or 
field that may be causing a conflict (possibly reserved word) ... ???
