blank screen

I tried dlcerk from fp 5.6.10.  Same problem.

Then I noticed a directory called fpold, and fpold/dclerk works
normally. I probed and found that fpold is actually fp 04.05.08.  And
that old dclerk is a COFF binary, not ELF like the more recent ones.
So I suppose something's gone haywire with my calling upon /usr/lib
resources.
