can data file be copied from fp 5.8 to fp 5.0 & work. can the data files be transfered back to 5.8 and work?

So, I spend a weekend offline, and you try to take my job?  :-)

With a few rare exceptions, filePro has always allowed you to do that, as 
long as you didn't use any new features not available in the older version.

And with even fewer exceptions (I can only think of one at the moment), you 
could always use the filePro file on a newer version of filePro.  (The one 
exception was the change in MID between 1.0 and 1.1, and you were able to 
set PFMID=OLD until you updated your code.)  I believe that between 1.x and 
2.0 you needed to rebuild auto indexes as well.
