He may be.  He wasn't explicit.  

If it's a "terminal session only" scenario to a VPS or other VM where fP is
hosted and run natively on the same storage as the data, okay, that may be
fine.

If it's a situation where the data itself is stored somewhere in the cloud,
and a share from Timbuktu is mounted to some internal Linux system, you're
talking about a nightmare.
