What would really be nice is if we had a forum where all of these were
kept, were easily and completely search-able; not to mention, directly
exposed to a very large community.
http://www.tek-tips.com/groups.cfm
I wrote a forum page a while back but the list was preferred and it was
never used. Thing is, the forum is a good launching pad to the list
since all postings and replies to a posts in the forum could be mailed
to the list thus sending a copy of said posts to all registered users
(registered with the list). One can even have triggers to send/not send
email to the list based on user profile or messages bouncing from the
list ...
Didn't fpTech have a forum as well? What ever happened with that?
If we have a Forum, there should be no worries about top/bottom postings
since the forum could be set to send the email to the list as:
(a) just a link
(b) entire history of the post and replies
Regards,
Jose
