Forgotten environmental variables

I find it helpful to read through the filePro manual to refresh my memory as to all of the environmental variable that one can set.

However, some of these are very esoteric like PFbixbuild=2.  This is a value that normally defaults to 1.  It created a recent problem with the new auto index selection program.  FPtech could not duplicate the problem caused until Ken realized that that variable may be causing the problem.  It was corrected after I reset this variable on my system and with the updated dxmaint version, the problem was corrected.

Quick thing to check when all else has failed with a program crash.  Check the field edits to make sure they exist in a edits file either global or specific to one file.
