At first, I thought you meant that they'd come up with a way to auto-upgrade
you to Windows 10, rather than "new CPUs won't be able to run pre-Windows 10".
I'd love to know how they do that, and are they also going to prevent any
non-Windows O/S from running on it?

Unfortunately, what's likely to happen in many small-to-midsize companies is
that the boss (who absolutely "must have" the latest hardware every 4-6
months) will get a new Win10-only laptop, and then force the rest of the
company to upgrade to Windows 10 for the sake of "sameness".
