OT: Network problem

(1) Conflicting IP addresses
(2) Dying/faulty network card
(3) Faulty cable - possibly jammed or cut
(4) More traffic than hardware setup to handle
(5) Bad DNS
(6) May have proxy configured and it is no longer valid or not needed
(7) /etc/hosts table has conflicting configuration ...
(8) Using HUB instead of Switches
(9) Make sure that DHCP reserved block is not conflicting with static
IPs assigned to a node
