Tony,
Depends on how sure you are that there will never be ANY date in FP that is
earlier than that date and how far into the future you want the scheme to
work.
For example, if PFCMARK = 90, then any date with the last 2 characters
between "90" and "99", inclusive, would be treated as being in the 1900's,
so 01/01/90 = 01/01/1990, 12/31/99 = 12/31/1999.
Any date with the last 2 characters between "00" and "89", inclusive, would
be treated as being in the 2000's, so 01/01/00 = 01/01/2000, 12/31/89 =
12/31/2089.
So WHERE IS YOUR GREATEST RISK, that the system might have some date BEFORE
1990 or that it might still be in use in 2089? Either event will cause
trouble.
Adjust PFCMARK accordingly OR update your application before 2089.
