LM question - license manager not running but i am connected via SSH in many computers - does LM need to be started?

Actually, if you're using ssh to get into the same system, you're running 
filePro on only one computer (but from multiple workstations).

You only need the license manager on *nix if you are actually running 
filePro on different computers using a single license server.
