You're looking at keepalive on -your- side being something they usually
want you to tinker with. Past that, good luck getting anywhere, especially
if it's not a local/regional provider.
Additionally, you're probably shooting yourself in the foot by using the
terminology entirely incorrectly. HTTP is indeed a connection-oriented
protocol, as it uses TCP. A -true- connectionless protocol would use UDP
or ICMP. HTTP is only as -persistent- as it needs to be, but it -is-
connection-oriented. It's just as connection-based as SSH - just
shorter-lived.
