Since you deleted the file that was causing the problem, we may never know.
My guess would be, since you were using a "lookup free", that something in
the freechain was corrupted and pointed to a negative record number.
(Though I haven't checked whether or not filePro would catch that and
trigger a freechain rebuild.)
