Linux providers in the cloud ... recommendations

Yeah, one thing I'd note about ViUX is that you really want to do your own
security updates.  I have had three different CentOS versions on their
systems, and I basically roll my own apache, mysql, php, etc., all outside
vendor scope.  This means that:

1) If ViUX does updates, I'm not in for a surprise day of, "I no longer
work."

2) I have to periodically roll new versions myself.  But I built scripts to
handle configuring/building what I use.  Downloading is the only real pain.

3) You can't upgrade the kernel, as (unlike VMWare), the kernel runs at the
Parallels host level, rather than running inside the container itself.  You
can update kernel-headers, but not kernel.  :/  

They don't update nearly often enough, but I've also never been
blacklisted, and they take care of any problem users in a timely fashion.

Let's be realistic...unless Bill or I start our own hosting firms, no
company is going to upgrade as often as they should.  :)
