Printing 1098, 1099

Export data to Quickbooks?
For many years I used a short program written in FP, which printed the
multi part 1099s on an impact OKI printer. It would accumulate totals and
then print the final report to go with  the forms to the IRS. The impact
printer would hold for each from feed to print the next form. I had the
program pause to enable you to load the final form (cover). Every once in a
while I would have to adjust the report in FP to accomodate the change in
the IRS format. This was not too bad as we only needed to run the print job
once a year. We now use a Loan Closing program (Windows based) that files
the electronic 1099 report with the IRS etc.
