Did you know that filePro is now available in a 64 bit version?  Windows, FreeBSD, Linux and OpenServer 10 versions of 5.8.00 are now available in 32 and 64 bit versions. Don't forget that all filePro versions prior to 5.7 are no longer sold or supported.  You can review the new features of 5.7 and 5.8 at:

The Update Subscription Program (USP) is gaining steam.  Customers enjoy getting new features ahead of time and also being involved more closely in the development process.  Most find the USP a great way to budget keeping their filePro current with the latest new features.

Some customers decide to move from SCO operating systems to Windows (We will not debate if this is a good or bad decision).  One of the things that bothers people the most is switching from DEL-DEL to Ctrl-C.  Now supplied with filePro Windows is filepro-del.key located in the lib directory.  Using PFKEYTAB in your configuration and setting it to filepro-del now allows Windows filePro to use the DEL-DEL key to break just as it is does on SCO systems.  Ctrl-C continues to work but DEL-DEL also works.
