As others have mentioned ,you can "push" or "pull" the processing.  I prefer 
"pull".

Bring up define processing, and create the new table.

Press F8 (block functions), "L" (load), (to line) "1".

Then type "filename/prcname" (such as "foobar/input") that you want to load.
