The FilePro list limits messages to 40KB.  Messages larger than
that are held for administrator approval, and a note sent to the
sender explaining this.

Some webmail clients, (e.g. horde), allow one to specify that
attachments are sent as links in the message, and automatically
upload the attachment(s) to the horde server.

It's also pretty easy to put files in Dropbox or similar cloud
services, then share them via URLs:
