Have you actually tried your GMail mailbox via the webmail interface?  If
you're relying on K-@ Mail, well...it's already proven itself a piece of
refuse.  I'm starting to think the mail is there in either account, but it
has an internal setting which blocks your own posts - a poorly implemented
version of a rule which other mail clients use to ignore messages sent to
self.

Check the webmail.
