BREAK ON fails after SCREEN

In dclerk on filePro 4.8.10D4 on SCO OSR6v, BREAK ON fails after SCREEN
command.  In the simplest case:

::break off:
::screen 0:
::break on:

fails to restore break key functionality, i.e. break continues to be
ignored.  On the online filepro manual site, I checked all release notes
containing "break" and found nothing indicating a problem or fix with
the interaction of SCREEN and BREAK.  Nor do I see any mention of it in
the archive of this list.

Was this a known issue with this version?  Has it been fixed?
